"Rumor has it that Tom Cruise doesn't want his life with Katie Holmes to be a repeat of his marriage to Nicole Kidman.

The buzz is that Tom Cruise wants his wife-to-be to focus on being a wife and a mother -- not on her career. He also reportedly wants her to avoid the spotlight for a while.

"I've got Katie tucked away, so no one will get to us until my child is born -- and until I want them to," Cruise recently told "a friend" according to the new issue of Life & Style Weekly.

Yeah. "tucked away."

  • Tucked? I hope somebody Katie knows reads Mr Smartass's comment BEFORE any marriage takes place. He obviously intends to keep her the old fashioned way - barefoot and pregnant. And what's this crap about "...my child...?" Takes TWO, COUNT THEM TWO people to make a baby even if one is so naive she still doesn't get that she's being used.

  • "Friend?" You have to be joking. Some butthole wanted to make a quick buck, and sold his lies to some reporter who wanted to make his own buck. Katie Holmes is a smart educated women. She took years off of her career to go to school because that was more important to her. Why would it be any different for her CHILD?
